Its has all been about research so far. I am concerned about food, looking at rationing clothing and just thinking about how we are going to do this. we want this to be taken seriously and want it to be as true as possible.
This weeks task is looking into where i can buy powdered egg!
Dave being the man in the house wants to do his bit for the war effort so he has been pitting together his home guard uniform and researching the local home guard in portishead.
We where very lucky to have a home guard book given to us from a family member , it has proved a very interesting read.
This week Daves badges for his uniform arrived. he got them from monty’s locker a great company and very helpful.

Holly is still keen but does not seem to grasp their where no teenagers in 1943 !
